25/10/2024, after the lecture of Math(COMP 9020), I asked lecturor Jiaojiao that if the imposter and crewmate on slides are wrong.
I incorrectly thought only one imposter, and two honest crewmates!
Green: “Red and Blue are both crewmates”
It's an unsatisfible contradiction to the question, we cannot gain conclusions that Green is crewmate or imposter.
In the lecture and the conclusion in slides, it wrongly demands one imposter and two crewmates.
If Green is imposter, then he told a truth, which is contradiction with the question;
if Green is crewmate, then he told a truth, then 3 people are all crewmates.
question
Premises: Every one is either a crewmate,or an imposter, but not both.
- Red: “Blue is an imposter”
- Green: “Red and Blue are both crewmates”
- Blue: “Red is a crewmate, or Green is an imposter”
Conclusion: Greenisanimposter
solutions
lecture’s slides
Translation to logic: Let R, G, B represent “Red (Green, Blue) is a crewmate”.
full traversal assignments
I draw the table firstly, which contains full traversal assignments and truth table. They are two different solutions.

conclusion
R and G are imposters, B is crewmate. Totally two imposters and one crewmate.
